I've found my furever family!

Sweet is the first word that comes to mind when thinking about Casper. She is a 50 lbs, approximately 8 year old white standard poodle. Despite a difficult life so far (Casper is a puppy mill survivor), she is trusting and very loving. All she wants is a warm, safe, quiet place to lay her head. She prefers to be around other dogs, and is even good around cats. She is very calm and only barks when she gets excited. Casper's rough start has resulted some medical and behaviour issues. She has spondylosis that impairs her mobility slightly and she wants to eat small soft items (e.g., socks, mittens, hats, small toys, etc.). Casper can manage stairs, but her ideal home would not have a lot of stairs for her to climb to get into her fenced yard. She would be an excellent companion for a senior dog, with a person who is home often and is willing to puppy proof their home for her. She is good around kids and puppies, but prefers a quieter lifestyle.
