Boomer came into SPIN in April, 2024. Yes, that's right. Over a year ago. Sometimes it takes even great dogs like Boomer to find their people.So Boomer loves people. Loves them. And has a great zest for life. Full of love, curiosity, and a little bit of that endearing goofiness that made his foster families smile every day.Boomer had a tough start—he grew up during the pandemic, surrounded by people but missing some of the early social experiences dogs need to feel confident in the world. He simply wasn't confident. And sometimes he panicked. "Don't leave me alone!!!!!"Since coming into our care, he made great progress, learning and growing with the help of patient, supportive humans. Yet, meaningful change takes time. Boomer needed someone who saw his potential and was ready to invest in a strong, lasting bond. Boomer thrives on connection and needed a home where he’s not left alone for long stretches and where training is seen as a positive, ongoing journey.And look who has stepped up for him. Awwwww. Boomie. We are all so happy for you. You are truly a special dog and you are going to give your whole heart to your new people. Your. Whole. Heart. They are going to be so loved. - Adopt
