Please give a big SPIN welcome to Norman. Norman is a 4 year old standard poodle who didn't have the best start in life. He was initially surrendered in November 2025 by a lovely family who loved him very very much. Norman's fears and anxieties causes him to react in bursts and bounce. Norman was fostered by one of long standing foster homes in Medicine Hat and then adopted out to another lovely family. Norman's fears and anxieties proved to be too much for this family as well. To be honest, dogs like Norman who are so sweet and snuggly with their people but who are always on guard and need to have their environment managed for them are sometimes difficult to shape the human life around. We understand and are so grateful that both families recognized that Norman needed more than they could provide. That take bravery and selflessness.Norman is now with a very experienced foster home in Winnipeg. He will be given time to regroup himself and then SPIN will find him the help he needs to navigate this very confusing bi-ped world. Awwww, Norman. We love you buddy. Everything will be okay. SPIN's got you. We all have you.Foster Update: Norman has been enjoying his time outdoors in the beautiful weather! He adores playing fetch, sitting with his people, and sniffing around the yard.
