Annie was born and raised in a puppy mill. She amazed us every day with her ability to overcome her past. To trust us. But that is behind her now and she is loving life! Outside play time and walks in quiet areas are her favourite things to do! One day Annie attended a SPIN event at the PetValu in Petawawa, ON. A lovely couple just happened to be there and were quite taken by her sweet & gentle demeanour. They couldn't stop thinking about her. They didn’t come with the intention of rescuing another dog, but they knew that Annie was meant for them!
So now their other rescue, Casper is adjusting to having a (very big) little sister in the house, and is loving all of the extra treats he’s getting! Annie is settling in nicely. She’s taking her time warming up to things, but she is curious and is learning and growing every day!We wanted to thank everyone at SPIN that makes rescue & adoption of these sweet, deserving souls possible. Thank you for giving Annie & all of the other dogs a second chance at the life they deserve. We will make sure it is a good one! We are lucky that Annie chose us to be her family, & we cannot wait to see her continue to blossom! We will be sure to keep you updated!!! - Adopt
