I'm not quite ready to go to my new home.

Brandy is a sweet, timid, little lady that came into foster only responding to her name.  Brandy now perks up and runs to the door upon hearing the magical word “Outside” as it releases Brandy into her HAPPY PLACE where pots of dirt can be dug, ants chased, grass eaten, leaves sniffed and toads jump! Brandy is  good with other dogs and does not require a kennel when left alone, as long as, you don’t mind her getting comfy on your couch; though we do recommend storing away shoes and important papers as shoes have been found on her bed and paper may be shredded to maintain your privacy. 

Brandy will require a home with people that are patient and understanding as she is still working on gaining trust for people and will run away if you move too quickly when walking around or reaching out to touch her.   Her biggest fear is being leashed and having a harness put on and off, we are hopeful that as Brandy becomes more confident this fear will subside.  Brandy is quiet and calm in vehicles, but fearful of getting in and out.

At this time, we believe Brandy would do best in an adult only home (with or without a doggy friend) and a fenced yard.
