I've found my furever family!

Chanel came into SPIN in March 2024 with no name. She was in rough shape and needed medical attention very quickly. It was the vet tec who suggested the name Chanel and we thought it was perfect. Everyone fell in love with her soft, sweet spirit.

Chanel, though, was scared in the world and would constantly freeze. We soon learned that she had stomach issues and the first thing we tried was to move her to a limited protein food. That helped but not enough... so off to more vets.

A specialist was brought in and after many tests it turned out that Chanel suffered from IBD. After some prednisone and vegan food, she started feeling better and better. We eventually weaned her off the prednisone and she was finally feeling great and getting braver and braver.

In July 2025 she met her people and they picked her up in August. She's now living on waterfront property and so happy. From her new family "Now we're both sitting on the front deck looking at what's going on on the water. Nice and calm." Just the ticket for our sweet Chanel.
