Meet Chanel – A Survivor with a Heart of Gold

Chanel has endured more hardship than any dog should, but despite it all, she remains the sweetest soul. Rescued from a puppy mill where she was no longer wanted, Chanel arrived in SPIN’s care in heartbreaking condition—sores, bald spots, and a severe ear infection. Yet, through patience and love, she has blossomed into a gentle, kindhearted girl.

Chanel is a 6-year-old, spayed Standard Poodle who thrives in a predictable, calm environment. She’s still cautious with new experiences but is starting to show her playful side, even joining in on zoomies with her foster siblings. She absolutely adores other dogs and gains confidence from their presence.

She has Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and requires a strict veterinary diet to keep her comfortable and healthy. She also loves to chew, so sturdy toys are a must! Chanel is house-trained, crate-trained, and enjoys a peaceful kennel where she feels safe. While she can be timid with strangers, once she trusts you, her love is unwavering.
