Chili

Chili first came into SPIN in May, 2023. She was one of two beautiful, red standard poodle eight month old puppies from a doodle breeding farm in Northern Ontario. A very looooong ground transport chain was arranged to bring them out of the breeding farm and into SPIN’s loving arms. The girls were named Ginger and Chili. Ten days later, the parents of Ginger and Chili were released and flown down with Pilots 4 Paws. We called them Tasha and Mav.
Chili’s foster family fell in love with their little spice girl. They couldn’t imagine her living anywhere else. And while they really weren’t looking to add another dog to their family, their family just didn’t seem complete without her. And so they adopted her. And then, two years later, life circumstances have changed and tearfully they came to the heartbreaking decision that they could no longer give Chili the life she so very much deserves. Illness sucks!And so Chili entered into SPIN's care again. Chili remained a little bit of a nervous ninny and so we looked for an understanding family who was willing to take things slowly and work with her to help her gain confidence. And we found a lovely spot for Chili to land. SPIN wishes Chili many happy years of wags, cuddles and treats. Congratulations! - Adopt
