I'm ready for my new family!

Meet Cocoa. She was born, likely in a puppy mill, and then sold to a breeder, along with her sister. She was nervous and scared and while the new breeder was kind to her, she still lived in a kennel and didn't get the great one on one time with a loving person. The breeder knew she'd do better elsewhere and surrendered her to us. Gosh, we loved her the moment we met her. She was so sweet and so scared. She stayed for a short time in a boarding kennel run by our wonderful volunteer where she had a bath and was groomed and learned that people were great! Then she went to a foster home where things were so different. 

In her foster home she can lay on the warm, soft couch. She has a yard to play in and friends to run with. Well, she doesn't always like the friends. She goes from not wanting them near her and her foster mom, to wanting to run and play and wrestle. Silly girl is taking it all in.
