Get ready to fall head over paws for Juno, the adorable black bundle of joy born on October 23, 2023! With her friendly demeanour, playful antics, and surprisingly smart moves, Juno stole her adoptive family's hearts.

From Juno's (now Rosie) family:

I'm happy to report that Rosie (formerly Juno) is recovering well after her spay & gastropexy yesterday.  The vet commented that you can tell she's used to being pampered and what a good girl she was during her recovery time.

Rosie has brought so much joy to our lives since she joined our family on May 2nd!  From supervising soccer games, leading nature hikes, making new friends wherever she goes, and ensuring I'm never lonely by being a professional shadow, she's always making us smile and we couldn't imagine life without her.

Rosie has completed Good Manners 1, Nosy to Neutral (which the instructor told us was created especially for her as she liked to micromanage the other dogs in her first obedience class!), and Agility 1.  We have plans to do Good Manners 2, Rocket Recalls, and Rally Obedience in the new year as we both enjoy and recognize the wisdom in continuing our training.

So many of our friends, family, neighbors and even strangers comment on what a beautiful dog she is, how well mannered and calm she is, and often how they wished their own dog behaved like her!  We feel SO lucky that SPIN chose us as the lucky family to bring home this sweetheart.

She is such a chill easy going pup, who is happy to run & play when she can, but also loves to chill and hold the couch down.  Rosie may not be trained as a therapy dog, but she has such a calming, positive effect on everyone… how can you not feel uplifted when you come home to see this beautiful loving  pup waiting to greet you?

It was heartwarming when she had the opportunity to reunite with her wonderful foster Maxine at a SPIN poodle party in Ottawa this fall.   We were able to witness such an amazing reaction, to see how visibly excited and happy she was to see Maxine and her sister again!  We could tell how much she loved Maxine, and just how much she was loved in return.  We often comment how thankful we are that we did not choose a puppy from a breeder, that we are so lucky to have had her amazing fosters give Rosie the best start possible before coming to our home.  We're proud to tell everyone about her journey and the amazing support and guidance we've had to get her to where she is today.  Thank you to everyone at SPIN for what you do!
