I'm ready for my new family!

Meet Koda. He is just about as perfect as they come! Koda was recently diagnosed with Addison's disease and that can scare some people but not us! Addison's disease is treated by either giving two sets of pills each day or by giving the dog an injection once every 4 weeks and giving him prednisone every day. That is how Koda is being treated. 

When he came to us he was on Florinef (pills) and Prednisone. We have lowered his dose of prednisone and have switched his other medication to Zycortal (injection). He'll need to have his electrolytes checked and some bloodwork done but he is doing really well on the new medication and we know things are just going to get better for him! 

Koda is just about as sweet a dog as can be. He is friendly and playful. He loves adults and children and he enjoys walks and playing outside. Gosh, we just love him!
