Meet Merlin’s Magick, a loyal and affectionate companion looking for a calm, loving home where he can settle into a new beginning. Life’s challenges led Merlin’s former family to surrender him, but in his foster home, he’s thriving with routine and stability. Merlin is medium-energy, well-trained, and perfectly crate and house-trained. Though independent, he loves his person’s companionship, often sticking close by and greeting you with enthusiasm when you return.

Merlin’s ideal family would understand his sensitive nature—he’s skittish with loud sounds and finds comfort in gentle reassurance. Merlin has had some eye concerns, including a recent diagnosis of scleral uveitis, treated with steroidal drops, and iris atrophy, which makes protective goggles important on his walks. Despite these needs, he’s a healthy, happy dog ready for adventure and playtime in a securely fenced yard.

This sweet, expressive boy would flourish as the only pet in a quieter home, ideally with adults or older children who appreciate his polite, quiet nature. Merlin may howl to favourite songs but settles with a little attention. Merlin will have a follow-up ophthalmologist appointment in Toronto in November, so his future family will need to bring him to this important check-up if he is adopted before Nov 21.
