We're happy to tell you that Moss has a new furever home. Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.
Moss is now in his forever home! Yeah for Moss. AND he is taking his good buddy the Highland Coo with him as a reminder of his days (and nights) running free with the cows in Calabogie. We will always remember you Moss. Please stay close to home from now on. I know you will because we have found you the perfect family.
UPDATE FROM THE ADOPTERS
When Moss went on his "rumspringa" with the cows, I told my husband that I wanted to adopt this dog. I was so smitten, but we had our hands full with our elderly love, Dastan. So we watched updates about Moss, and every time something was posted, I'd say, "I think this dog would be a good fit for us." But 2 poodles are a lot of work, especially if one is young and one is very old. We lost Dastan in early November, and we were very sad. But we quickly realized how much we need a poodle in our lives, and somehow, this cow loving puppy was still available. We have had a very cuddly first 24 hours with Moss. He is velcro! It took him about 3 seconds to get into bed with us last night. His leash skills are great and we are going to let him come out of his shell and find his true poodle. The cheeky little monkey was an angel on the long car ride, and he is learning that the combination of a harness and martingale means he gets to go on a walk. So many things to sniff in Toronto!
