PICKERING, ON

Meet Ronnie! This handsome, athletic 4-year-old Standard Poodle is ready for fun and adventure. Though he didn’t have the best start in life, Ronnie is now safe with SPIN and on the lookout for his forever home. This big, magnificent poodle has won over every SPIN volunteer who’s spent time with him—he even has a dedicated cheering section rooting for his success!

Ronnie is an active guy who loves to play, run, fetch, and indulge in a good game of tug-of-war. He has so many wonderful qualities, including being perfectly house-trained and non-destructive. While crate-trained, he doesn’t need one and is happy to have free reign of the house. Ronnie’s intelligence stands out—he has great recall, knows multiple commands, and gets along well with other dogs, always respectful of their space and food.

Loyal and protective, Ronnie bonds deeply once he gets to know you. After a proper introduction, you’ll have a friend for life. He would thrive in a calm, dog-savvy household and might do best in a quieter neighbourhood or even a rural or semi-rural setting. Ronnie is still learning that he doesn’t always need to be protective, so his adopter will need to continue guiding him in this area. In return, you'll have a healthy, intelligent, well-trained dog who offers unconditional love and a larger-than-life personality.

If you think Ronnie could be the perfect fit for your family, please reach out to us—we love to talk about him!
