Intake

When a poodle enters our program, whether through owner surrender or through a rescue situation, their medical needs are attended to and the dog is placed in a foster home. In the foster home, the dog is observed for behaviour, character and health. Once deemed adoptable, he or she is then placed on the "Ready for Adoption" list.

The following dogs are in the intake program, and are not ready to be adopted as yet. You can still Contact Us to ask for more information and a possible date for when they will be ready for adoption. We call this date their "check back date."
